I would like to start to say thank you Mr.President,For thinking about the low income and the middle class, I wish we had more to give but we don't,It has come down to what can we afford gas to go to a Doctor, Can't even pay co-pays ,food, medications, Their just isn't enough money to pay for these things.I tried to get a grant to fix my home , Because are insurance company denied are claim , I tried the insurance commissioner and he said he sided with the insurance company. I have Toxic mold in my home, it's not our  fault this happened . We hired people to fix it and just had more problems, We are now on Social Security, fought for about 8 years.

Because we have put alot of our money into our home , when we were able to work, But now we are old , sick,and can't do the things we use to do ,and it's a mobile home,I tried to  get help But could not get any help from Snap, hud , fema,epa and many others I have way over a 1000 e-mails, letters, out there,they tell me their isn't anything  in grants that can help us ,I have had two  boughts of cancer, my husband had a stroke, my son has asthma, but yet the Rich can get Grants,

Hi Everyone, I'm back Sandy 6, Wanted to say Hi to everyone,

Who~knew,soul light, Elaine,Emil, all of you have been busy, Last year has been very busy,here. Niece had heart surgery and has lupus,had alot of scare's the lupus affected her heart,kidneys, she's 32 has a 9 year old son. so I really haven't had time to think about myself, she scared all of us she had heart failure, No insurance, she is in debt for the rest of her life, and still has to go to the Doctors every month. they had to put her on blood thinners. Never did get any help with the toxic mold, We were all sick for a month, my Doctor is sending us in for tests he thinks the mold is affecting us and thats why we are sick all the time.  I'm sorry I haven't been on the net, but there has been so much going on  husband needs surgery on his eyes an his knees ,and we just haven't been able to do anything yet , Money has been very tight and I know all of you know what I mean,Did any of the new's stations ever get involved,with aid page,

Dear Elaine, Very important, I attend a meeting at WSU, about Federal funding,They do not give grants to individual people,Grants are given to corporations, organization,non-profits,I really wanted to see what it was all about,because on the web you have all these sites to get grants,They do have some help for rural it's under USDA,(Housing is Hud,)They get the Grants to help and you get low interest loans. also I really advise everyone to watch the Movie SICKO,God Bless you Sandy6

We are an older couple who have tried to get help, our insurance will not cover it, we have tried just about everything, all of our local resources, and just can't seem to get any help, Even tried ,the Governor of Washington, It's a very long story but will try and make it short.

We had always taken care of our home when we were working,but my husband had a stroke,and was no longer able to work, so had to hire people to do repairs on our roof and they left us in a big mess, they went out of business, and ever since we have been trying to get a grant or charitiy or anything that can help us. it is five years now,and we are still looking for help,we are both on a fixed income,have a mortgage,not able to move, our ceiling is leaking again, and winter will soon be here.The toxic mold is in our ceiling of our double wide mobile home. it's a 1972 ,which it seems no one wants to touch it, I have one Son who just graduated college Sept 15,2007 as a massage therpist,who is hoping to help us ,but his college has left him in debt for 8,000 dollars which he has to pay,starting very soon,and the toxic mold affect's his Asthma. so all of these things are just adding to all of our debt, $800.00 for Dental, My husband needs surgery on his eyes $824.00 which we don't have,that's after medicare pay's and he also needs surgery on his knees,We aren't sure what our part will cost. so all of these things ,have come up and we just can't afford all of these things .

The gift,do you have local community services in your town or city, sometimes community centers can help pay for your electric bills, they have foundation grants ,charities, organization like unitedway,salvation army,red cross, God Bless

Dear Cassie, it sounds like your in a better situation then you think , you should be able to get financial aid to go to college.because of your parents situation.if they are low income, look at aid mate Soulight,ElaineTSA, idilogic,they have alot of help listed. God bless
